1 John 3: 1-10
The greatest love in this world and in this universe is the love of God, because we should be called children of God and when He appears again, we shall be like HIM. Wow………. It’s really a very marvelous HOPE for us.
So what we should do to response HIS LOVE? We should purify ourselves from sin, just as He, who is pure, there is no sin in HIM.
GOD’S WORD about purity is very clear
- 2 Corinthians 7:1 - let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit & perfecting holiness out of reverence for God.
- 1 John 3:7 - do not let anyone lead you astray
So, do not let everything or everyone lead us astray or contaminates our body or our mind or our heart. This should be decided by ourselves every time, everywhere in every situation.
A person who keeps on sinning and who continues to sin is
- a person who does not live in HIM and has neither seen HIM nor known HIM
- is of the devil
1 John 3:9 - No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in Him; He cannot go on sinning, because he has been born of God.
A children of God do what is right in HIM and who love his brother.
